We've always believed in recycling, and we've committed ourselves to environmentally sound business practices and responsibility. Here are a few things we do to save resources and reduce our own carbon footprint:

• We use energy saving, low-wattage, automatic shut-off, fluorescent lighting in our warehouse and corporate headquarters
• We recycle all metals and plastics, glass and paperboard products in our national and international facilities
• We employ our own in-house, hard plastic shredder and paper shredders
• We have an employee recycling program
• We accept consumer electronic waste
• In partnership with San Diego Gas & Electric, we've voluntarily installed remote thermostats, and shut off our air conditioning units during peak business hours
• In partnership with RecycleYourLamp.org, we recycle all UHP lamps and properly dispose of mercury-containing (Hg) lamps
• We accept spent lamps from competitors for recycling, and even recycle the plastic enclosures by reusing them or shredding them and recycling its plastic
• In partnership with Eco ReBox, we've switched to shipping some of our products to sustainable packaging, with hopes of revolutionizing the consumer electronics industry
• A lot of of us carpool or take mass transit
• We use blankets instead of heaters we open the front and back doors instead of turning on the AC in the office (it's all about the airflow!)
