Better buy the one come with housing. If you are looking to buy this lamp, beware the lamp will not fit in the Mitsubishi original housing. This lamp is thicker and will only fit a after market housing. Good thing I have a spare after market housing and works great, very bright and looks good so far. Hope it last longer than my last unknow brand which last for 15 Months. Only time will tell.
