Here's a list of the most common questions we receive from customers:

Some items may be returned, less restocking fee, within 30 days of the purchase date.

After 30 days, and only within the warranty period, we allow exchanges for like or similar merchandise. Your warranty with Discount-Merchant.com covers one replacement or exchange should the item be defective.

If items are damaged or defective, you'll need to call in to report any faults with the product or with shipping so we may swiftly send you a replacement. We're sorry, but we do not cover shipping costs for you to return the item back to us. Please use a shipping method such as UPS or FedEx for fast and reliable shipping and a Speedy RMA process.

Lamps and Accessories
In most cases, if you order by 2 PM Pacific Time, we will ship your order on the same day. We even ship on Saturdays. With thousands of products in stock, we are able to ship most orders within minutes! If a part is not in stock, or if there is a problem, we will attempt to notify you immediately via phone, or email. We encourage all of our customers to call in and verify their orders if they requested overnight shipping. Some orders may take longer than others due to unforeseen circumstances. Additional information on lamp order shipments is below:

United States Postal Service (USPS)*
USPS Priority Mail - last call 3:00 PM PST - ETA 2-3 days, no garantees 
USPS Express Mail - last call 1 PM PST - 1-2 days.

UPS (recommended)*
Ground (Residential Addresses) - last call 3:00 PM PST, pick ups Monday through Friday, deliveries Tuesday through Saturday - ETA 1-7 days.
Ground (Business Addresses) - last call 3:00 PM PST Monday through Friday - ETA 1-6 days.
3-Day Select (3Day) - last call 3:00 PM PST Monday through Saturday - ETA 3 days.
2nd Day - last call 3:00 PM PST Monday through Saturday - ETA 2 days.
Standard Overnight - last call 3:00 PM PST Monday through Saturday - ETA next day (no Saturday deliveries).
Priority Overnight - last call 3:00 PM PST Monday through Saturday - ETA next day (no Saturday deliveries).
Priority Overnight w/ Saturday Delivery - last call 2:00 PM PST Monday through Saturday - ETA next day for most places in the US (Saturday deliveries).
 
Parts Shipping and Non-Local Stock Merchandise 
There is usually a 24-hour delay before parts are shipped out.  It may take up to 48-72 business hours before shipping because we don't stock all parts locally. If you'd like to pick up from us locally, please call to make sure we have the part ready for pickup before you head down. Before placing orders for parts, it is heavily encouraged that you view all available photos of the unique part you are purchasing (typically there are five pictures of each PCB. Occasionally connectors may be different and we know you'll be upset if you can to install the module and only then you realized the parts are slightly different.  

The same shipping options available for PCBs are also available for lamps (only with a slight delay in shipping).  
NOTE: we do have a *few* parts pre-packaged and ready to ship the same day, but don't depend on it! ;)

We charge a 25% restocking fee for all working parts returned to our warehouse.  Please keep this in mind before ordering.
 
International Parts Orders
International orders are usually shipped out within 2-3 business days.  Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery.  We prefer to ship with USPS, and usually orders will go out via their Priority Mail International service.  You may also choose Express Mail International. 
 
Canada Parts Orders
For Canada, you may choose to use FedEx International Ground. This service is inexpensive and more reliable than the US Postal Service. Please call us for details at 619-931-1616!
 
*Please review our shipping and return policies. Last call does not necessarily mean your item is guaranteed to ship same day. Human error, stock supply, and weather may cause delays in shipment.

Does your TV make a “whining, whirling, clicking, or humming noise?”  If you have the infamous blinking lights problem and you’ve replaced your lamp without success, it’s most likely a problem with your color wheel.

The Samsung color wheels spin anywhere from 6,000 to 15,000 revolutions per minute (RPMs)–It is one of the few consumable parts in your Samsung TV.  The average life expectancy from our datalogging shows the Samsung color wheels are fairly reliable with a MEAN average of 5-8 years, compared to the trouble prone RCA color wheels which on average last only 3-5 years!
