Your Toshiba TV has a green and red LED lights on the front touchpad, these indicate the TV’s status and can help you to ensure your lamp is the problem: • Red ON (solid) and Green OFF = The TV power cord is plugged in. • Green ON (solid) and Red OFF = A recording is in progress while the TV is OFF. • Red ON (solid) and Green ON (solid) = A recording is in progress while the TV is ON. • Green and/or Red blinking: 1) Green blinks continuously at 3-second intervals. Red blinks continuously at 0.5-second intervals: The lamp unit door is not seated properly. Turn OFF the TV and unplug the power cord. Ensure that the lamp door is installed securely and try again. 2) Green blinks continuously at 0.5-second intervals; Red is ON (solid): The lamp is not working properly. The TV will automatically try to restart itself eight times. Note: If the TV is powered off and then quickly on again when the lamp unit is hot, it may take several minutes for the picture to appear on-screen. This is a property of DLP TV lamp technology and is NOT a sign of malfunction. 3) Green and Red blink continuously at 1-second intervals: The lamp is not working properly after the eighth automatic restart. Turn the TV OFF and then ON again. If the problem persists, replace the lamp unit. 4) Green is OFF; Red blinks at 0.2-second intervals 4 times (repeats): An abnormal temperature increase has occurred. Turn OFF the TV. Check to make sure all slots and openings in the TV cabinet are not covered, blocked, or dusty. Turn ON the TV again. 5) Green is OFF; Red blinks continuously at 0.5-second intervals: Abnormal operation (including cooling fan stop). Turn OFF the TV and unplug the power cord. Plug the power cord in again and turn ON the TV. 6) Green is OFF; Red blinks continuously at 1-second intervals: Abnormal operation of BUS line. Turn OFF the TV and unplug the power cord. Plug the power cord in again and turn ON the TV. 7) Green is OFF; Red blinks at 0.2-second intervals 3 times (repeats): The color wheel has stopped. Turn OFF the TV and unplug the power cord. Plug the power cord in again and turn ON the TV.
