Samsung BP96-01415A Lamp Enclosure
The lamp enclosure (sometimes referred to as the lamp housing, lamp assembly, lamp block, lamp cage, plastic) is engineered and manufactured by Samsung.
The lamp inside is engineered by Philips in cooperation with Samsung. Samsung and Philips worked closely in producing this combination. Your original Samsung Lamp is either 100W/120W or 120W/132W.

The "P" stands for Philips, the manufacture of the lamp
originally in your TV set. Samsung uses Philips lamps exclusively with a
few exceptions.
We
always recommend changing your BP96-01415A lamp with a Philips original
lamp. Your TV was originally engineered with the Philips...anything else may lead to a shortage in life span and light output of of not only the lamp but the TV.
This product SKU is for the complete kit: the Philips lamp
and the Samsung plastic enclosure, reassembled and ready for replacing
your old bad lamp.
