| This is an Original Replacement Lamp for your Samsung DLP TV, manufactured by Philips.
The original lamp for the BP96-00224A(T) is a Toshiba 100W UHP Lamp. These are very difficult to find in the marketplace today and the preferred replacement for this lamp is the either Philips 100W/120W UHP lamp or an OSRAM 100W/12W P-VIP Lamp. Either of these should actually last longer than the Toshiba lamp
After the first few production runs, Samsung switched over to using Philips lamps exclusively (except for a select few models when there were limited supply of Philips lamps).
