This is a guaranteed genuine Philips TOP UHP parabolic lamp for rear projection LCD and LCOS TV’s, it has a life time from 6000 to 8000 hrs. The highest quality brand you can buy.

UHP bulbs are designed and produced as a (spare) part of projection devices, manufactured by OEM’s worldwide and sold worldwide.

Note: This type of discharge lamp contains mercury. In operation, the Philips UHP lamp gets extremely hot and develops a very high internal pressure.

To replace the Philips UHP, the power should always be switched off. See also the Specification sheet here. Never touch the front glass with bare hands. If bare hands have touched it, the front glass should be cleaned with a lint free towel before installing the lamp.
