The D-ILA JVC Televisions are incredibly clear and crisp TVs.  The latest models available today, the HD-58s998, the HD-65s998, and the HD-70GC78 are amazing set with phenomenal color contrasts, deep blacks, and relatively great replication of whites.  Today the D-ILA chips product an incredible 2 million pixels!! that's why you'll never seen any pixilation on any JVC D-ILA TV...whereas the competitors look second rate.  With 1080P resolution (1920x1080), the three chip D-ILA JVC designed technology outshines all the competition.

The amazing picture quality is powered by a tiny Ultra High Performance Lamp, commonly known as UHP.  This UHP technology was originally designed by Philips and first introduced into the marketplace in 1995.  Philips claims light output in some applications as strong as the Sun!

Philips, the founder and market leader is the original lamp manufacture for top brands such as: Sony, Samsung, Sanyo, NEC, Infocus, Hitachi, etc.).  It is our "inside" information that JVC will feature Philips lamps as its OEM with the new production model TVs due out later this year.  This is great news for JVC as it's only downfall until now as been the reliability issues of its lamps, which until now have been manufactured by Panasonic's parent company.

So, as stated above, this is truly a better than original solution.  Philips has just start manufacturing lamps for JVC and these are in short supply!
